Dave Grohl Calls New Album Powerful
Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl says the band
is conjuring up a "really big powerful record." Grohl tells
TheRockRadio.com that they've been working with veteran producer Gil
Norton, who helmed the Foos' second studio disc, "The Colour and the
Shape," as well as albums from The Pixies and others.
Although the new disc sounds like a Foo Fighters album, Grohl says, quote, "it’s
definitely moving in a few different directions.”
Meanwhile, the Foos are planning a special tenth-anniversary edition of "The
Colour and The Shape." The two-disc version, due in June, includes a
selection of B-sides and cover tunes. The album includes the singles "My
Hero," "Everlong" and "Monkey Wrench." |
