The Goo Goo Dolls SUCKED. It was cool though, I needed to get nachos
anyway. Adam and the boys brought the house down! Here's the setlist, I'm
not positive about the order:
Anna Begins
Hard Candy
Omaha
Catapult
Ghost Train
Miami
Richard Manuel
Big Yellow Taxi
Colorblind
Round Here w/ Murder of One Lyrics
Long December
Hangin Around
Encore:
Mr. Jones
Murder of One
Holiday in Spain
It was a great show, I think they gave us a little extra because it was
the last show of the tour. Can't wait till next time...

This was my second Counting Crows show. It was amazing! I actually took
two friends with me who where "psyched" to see the Goo Goo Dolls. By the
time Adam had belted out the last line of "Holiday in Spain", at the end
of the show, my friends were ranting and raving about how the Crow's set
was the best musical show they had ever seen. Period. Adam, as usual, sang
with pure passion and my wife and I were truly moved. Now...the concert.
Kicked the show off with "Anna Begins" and it was flawless. They also
played (not in this order - memory not too good) "Omaha", "Miami",
"Colorblind", "Catapult", "Cannonball", "Hard Candy", "A Long December". I
don't have the exact set list, but I'm working on getting it. They
finished with the acoustic version of "Mr. Jones", then "Murder of One"
and then finished it off with "Holiday in Spain". One of the most fun
parts of the show was when they played "Hanging Around" toward the end. A
nice collection of Mascot-style animals populated the stage. There was a
dolphin, a bear, a tiger and a handful of other animals. The stage was
packed with people and you could tell everyone was having a GREAT time.
The crowd was really into the concert the whole night. We sat in the
grass, and it stayed packed until the very last note. The stage was also
very cool. I really liked the setup a lot better than the last time I saw
them when they were touring with Mayer. I found myself really getting lost
with Adam when he sang. It amazes me at how passionate the guy is. Even if
a person does not appreciate their music, you've got to stand in awe at
the amount of passion that band cranks out. Anyway, just had to give
"props" to the Crows tonight. It was truly a moving experience!!!

This was my first Crows concert and it was the best concert I have been to
yet. Other concerts I have been to have been more exciting and lots of
other things to draw you away from the music. This was all about the
music, the way it sounded the way it felt and the emotion of the music was
outstanding. You can definitly tell Adam cares about the music and
musicianship in his shows. I was lucky enough to see the last show of
their tour and it was great. Adam did say that they have an album coming
out sometime next year. I can not wait. Goo Goo Dolls were also great.

The band was amazing on 9/9/06. Adam is one of the most inspiring
musicians alive! The crowd would have been fine with that performance of
Round Here never ending. I couldn't have asked for a better show.

I thought the Goos were fine, and really liked the first guy, although I
can't remember his name for the life of me! Best part was an extended
"Round Here" with "A Murder of One" lyrics added. I thought the lyrics I
will walk along this hillside . . .) seemed to take on a totally different
meaning in a different song - that's me I guess. Just seemed very raw. But
then later they sang "Murder" again, which made me happy because I loved
that song. Man, that song got me past a lousy high school boyfriend! Can't
wait for the next Crows tour.

Best concert I have ever been to. I am a huge Crows fan but this was my
first time to see them live, as I live in Texas and they don't come here
often. I have never seen someone command an audience the way AD does. I
really was suprised at how much they give at a live show. They held
nothing back and I was thoroughly pleased. I wish that you got a copy of
the show on video after you leave cause that is something that I really
wish I had access to. My Longhorns got stomped by Ohio State that night
and I wasn't caring a bit as AD and the Crows blew me away.

I've been a fan for years and seen them twice here in Dallas. This show
was spectacular, nothing short of amazing. It's been a week since the
show, and I am still thinking about the experience. Adam's lyrics are like
poetry, and he and the band gave us 110% on the last night of the tour. It
was magical--can't wait to see them next time around.
