Cornell is marking the release of his first solo work since 1999's
Euphoria Morning with a tour of North America and several European
festival appearances.
The tour kicks off June 8 at the KJEE Seaside Beach Ball in Ventura Park,
Calif., before heading to Europe to play a handful of festivals, including the
Graspop Rock Festival in Belgium (June 22), the Rockwave Festival in Greece
(June 29) and Quartfestivalen in Norway (July 2).
Cornell To Play Live Earth Germany
Cornell will also join the hundreds of acts around the
globe taking part in the Live Earth global warming awareness concerts on July 7,
making an appearance during the Hamburg, Germany, portion of the event.
US Tour Dates
The U.S. portion of the tour gets rolling in earnest July
20 at San Francisco's Warfield Theatre and will make stops in 18 cities around
the U.S. and Canada, including Salt Lake City (July 13), Minneapolis (July 16),
Chicago (July 18), Toronto (July 20), Detroit (July 22), Boston (July 24), New
York City (July 31-August 1) and Costa Mesa, Calif. (August 5).

Cornell's new solo album, Carry On, hit the streets June 5. The disc was
recorded with producer Steve Lillywhite and features 12 tracks written by
Cornell, as well as "You Know My Name," the theme song from the latest James
Bond flick "Casino Royale," and a cover of Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean."
